World getting colder quickly

Daily Tech reports,

Twelve-month long drop in world temperatures wipes out a century of warming

Over the past year, anecdotal evidence for a cooling planet has exploded. China has its coldest winter in 100 years. Baghdad sees its first snow in all recorded history. North America has the most snowcover in 50 years, with places like Wisconsin the highest since record-keeping began. Record levels of Antarctic sea ice, record cold in Minnesota, Texas, Florida, Mexico, Australia, Iran, Greece, South Africa, Greenland, Argentina, Chile -- the list goes on and on.

No more than anecdotal evidence, to be sure. But now, that evidence has been supplanted by hard scientific fact. All four major global temperature tracking outlets (Hadley, NASA's GISS, UAH, RSS) have released updated data. All show that over the past year, global temperatures have dropped precipitously.

A compiled list of all the sources can be seen here. The total amount of cooling ranges from 0.65C up to 0.75C -- a value large enough to wipe out nearly all the warming recorded over the past 100 years. All in one year's time. For all four sources, it's the single fastest temperature change ever recorded, either up or down.

Be assured that this news will not dissuade the "global warming" from seeking to impose more controls and micromanagement of our lives than ever. Remember, they've already chucked talking about global warming to decry "climate change." Since there has never been a time since the forming of the earth that the climate has not changed, the alarmists' three-card-monte rhetoric gives the game away.

Just imagine that for 50o years the crime rate had been rising steadily, then fell precipitously. And then imagine that law-enforcement advocates began claiming that the real problem was not that the crime rate was increasing, but that it was changing, so no matter whether crime rose or fell, "crime change" was a terrible thing that must be confronted.

But, as Daily Tech points out, it's cold that kills, not heat. And in fact, NASA satellite measurements show that the earth's temperatures have been falling since 1998. And global cooling ain't so hot.

So the choice here in New England, if we have any, is between a half-foot of water and a half-mile of ice... Boy, that is a hard decision!

Not that I ever could understand how Sol has absolutely no influence over the last one-to-four degrees after having warmed Earth from background of about minus 450F to plus 58F. Did it get tired after the first 500 or so?

I have been clairvoyant since I was a child--I cannot recall when or how it started, but there are times I wish I were not, because I see the future often and with clarity.

The last time I had another recurring episode. as i call it, I was seeing my home in South Florida under ten feet of water. It came to me in a dream and stayed there in visions. I first saw this over twenty years ago.

in this vision, i saw the Earth getting really cold-not warm- and the house i live in uninhabitable, in South Florida. I also saw that i needed to move North, to the cold, to escape it. Boy was i confused?

Nothing made sense until global warming became a topic of conversation. i think the vision is that to live, I must go north because the south will flood and the heat will bring disease and starvation, while the north will be cold but livable. I do not understand the vision yet, but every once in a while another piece o f the puzzle is revealed to me.

I put my house on the market three years ago and have not sold, waiting for the last moment to be sure.

Sometimes I wish I had passed away with my parents and not lived to see the mess we have gotten ourselves in, but i am a survivor for a reason and when it is all revealed, I will try to tell what I know so that others may live.

If you do not believe me it's ok, Sometimes I wish I did not have this affliction-it's not a gift to see the future.

Hey Anonymous - I believe you.

The SUN has had no solar flares- that means another ice age is coming our way - but that still won't have an effect on global warming which probably will be noticable by 2015 some scientists say.

What does all this crazy weather (tornadoes, ice melts, snow storms, etc.) and mass dying of frogs & coral mean???

IT IS getting colder. It snowed where it never snows all over the globe this winter of 2008 - 2009. Scientist's and Journalist's: Get Real! And as for global warmer scoffer's: Big businesses to everyone at home ARE responsible. All CAN stop many of the destructive man made actions causing OUR Planet Earth to DIE.

Proof: Google up: " The Garbage Patch ". Not too many people are being told about that! Its garbage floating in the ocean twice the size of Texas! Without Plankton ALL HUMANS WILL DIE! Hint: Stop buying plastic and reuse your stuff.

Media and politician's DON'T rule the world. Sometimes it takes people like you (and a whole lot of courage) to influence humans to make a change to care for the Earth they habitat. Present day humans inherited the poisonous lifestyle aftermath caused by the industrial revolution. The present day Amish have the right idea. Calling all people who care: Trade your hummer for a horse and cart. At least you won't be to blame for any man-made destruction of the Earth.

You should follow your instinct - on moving. But its really getting cold up here in the Northeast; colder than usual and that means cold! Florida sound good right now and its May!

I for one, 2 years ago started getting the intuitive feeling that we should learn to stop eating meat or processed foods and do our best to grow our own food as many people will get sick and half of the world to more will be contaminated with great illness and death. ANd that many people will start getting a an allergic reaction on their skin to the chemicals ingested, and the natural body will rebel! And now its happening - from food contamination's to animal flu death's to recent numbers of hundreds of thousands of people complaining to nurses about skin reactions to chemical usage. Our world IS contaminated with unnatural man-made poisons. Maybe we can all agree on that, and agree to start relying on organic or home-made products instead.

Anyways, Here's a Question:

In the next 60 years will we live to see the destruction of the Earth caused by man? By chemicals, bombs, pollutants, global climate changes? What's your gut about that?

Nevertheless - Its now serious - and that bottom line is more graver than Money in The Bank! "Wake up People! Think of your kids - Money Hungry Business People!"
