People Died. Obama Lied.

The United States Benghazi consulate was attacked by al Qaeda last June. The terrorists released video taken by the attackers.



Obama's response? The next month his administration withdrew American security troops and turned down Ambassador Stevens' request that they stay.

Then on Sept. 11 al Qaeda killed four Americans, including the ambassador, and occupied the consulate, destroying it. Al Qaeda even raised its flag over the ruins.

President Obama and high administration officials spent the rest of the month saying that the attack was just a riot in response to a Youtube video released by a non-Muslim Egyptian living in California. Yet US intelligence operatives on the ground in Libya had told Washington within 24 hours of the attack that it was a preplanned terrorist assault, not a riot, not a demonstration.



People died. Obama lied.
