USS Enterprise heads out on final voyage | WTKR.com:
USS Enterprise has embarked on its last voyage - to Newport News, where its atomic-propulsion reactors will be defueled. In 2016, Enterprise will be towed to Puget Sound, Wash., where it will be cut up and sold for scrap.
Fortunately, an aircraft carrier designated CVN-80 will be christened Enterprise by the time it enters operational service in 2025.
