China is institutionalized thievery

This is a fact of life no different than the weather. There's no use complaining about China's kleptocracy any more than complaining about the rain. It just is. (Same, btw, with Afghanistan, which does not work despite endemic corruption of the system. The system simply is corruption. If every government official in the country suddenly got even as "honest" as a typical Chicago pol, the whole country would just fall apart.)
