Milky Way galaxy to be destroyed - we are all going to die!

By Donald Sensing

The universe keeps trying to find new ways to obliterate us all!

The Milky Way Could Crash Into Another Galaxy Billions of Years Earlier Than Predicted

Galaxies orbit millions of light-years apart, but gravity, the immutable magnet of the cosmos, can pull them together, producing spectacular collisions that reshuffle stars millions of years. According to the leading theory, the Milky Way will collide with one of its closest neighbors, Andromeda, sometime between 6 billion and 8 billion years from now.
But the Milky Way may face another galactic threat before that, from a different neighbor. A new study predicts our galaxy will collide with a galaxy called the Large Magellanic Cloud between 1 billion and 4 billion years from now.
So really, what is the point of long-range planning? In the long run, as John Maynard Keynes so famously explained, "We are all going to die!"

It is, once again,The End Of Life As We Know It! Let me count the ways:
  1. The giant asteroid that could be on course to hit Earth causing massive devastation
  2. Or the scenario this year as an obscure Planet X -- or Nibiru -- heads toward or collides into Earth
  3. Or that "Unseen dark comets 'could pose deadly threat to earth'."
  4. That's if we live long enough - doubtful because of the comet Genondahwayanung is on its way back and it pretty much annihilated most life in North America when it came here the first time.
  5. Not to worry about that, though, since we face supernova and galaxy-attack scenarios
  6. And then the massive gas cloud speeding toward a collision with the Milky Way
  7. But really, who cares about threats from outer space when out own atmosphere may detonate
  8. And then the asteroids
  9. Then the black hole death stars
  10. And we might be swallowed whole by the sun
  11. And there's an intense beam of gamma rays coming our way
  12. Then there was the fear that "human society is very quickly headed to a violent and disturbing end."
  13. Then the earth began to kill people for changing its climate.
  14. Then there is the voracious, galactic Hoover in Switzerland that will suck the whole planet into a black hole.
  15. And the massive destruction along the coasts of countries like the USA, UK and many on the African continent, within a matter of hours.
  16. But don't worry about the universe collapsing since that cannot happen before our galaxy rams into another one.
  17. But don't forget that The Universe is Going to Collapse anyway!
  18. Scientists discover super volcano trigger that could herald humanity's doom.
  19. The Internet is going to kill every one of us!
  20. There is a stellar Death Star coming right at us. Surrounded by whirling comets, it's like a stellar shotgun
  21. The universe is just going to collapse in The Big Cosmic Crunch!
  22. A distant galaxy is rushing towards Earth at one million mph - with no hope of deviation!
  23. Then there is a mysterious planet that wiped out life on Earth millions of years ago could do it again, according to a top space scientist.
  24. Or the universe might just rip itself apart before we collide with the Magellanic Cloud!
I tell ya, I'm starting to think that sooner or later, every one of us is going to wind up dead!

Universe to end! We are all going to die!

By Donald Sensing

The universe keeps trying to find new ways to obliterate us all!

The Universe might rip itself apart until there's nothing left, new study suggests

When it comes to the end of the Universe, most physicists think it will gradually get colder and fade out of existence, at the earliest, 2.8 billion years from now. ...
What if dark energy doesn't behave the way we expect it to? Instead of causing a steady expansion of the Universe, the expansion might accelerate over time, causing the Universe to eventually tear itself apart.

That scenario is called the 'Big Rip' and it would require dark energy to behave in a way we haven't seen as yet, and take on a form where it gets denser as the Universe expands.
The Brit papers are all over it.
“The idea of the Big Rip is that eventually even the constituents of matter would start separating from each other. You’d be seeing all the atoms being ripped apart ... it’s fair to say that it’s a dramatic scenario,” Dr Marcelo Disconzi told the Guardian. Scientists observed distant supernovae to examine whether the Big Rip theory, which was first suggested in 2003, was possible. The theory relies on the assumption that the universe continues to expand faster and faster, eventually causing the Big Rip.

We are all going to die!

We are all going to die - Again! - and maybe this month!

By Donald Sensing

Newly discovered planet could destroy Earth any day now

A mysterious planet that wiped out life on Earth millions of years ago could do it again, according to a top space scientist.

And some believe the apocalyptic event could happen as early as this month.

Planet Nine — a new planet discovered at the edge of the solar system in January — has triggered comet showers that bomb the Earth’s surface, killing all life, says Daniel Whitmire, of the University of Louisiana.

We are all going to die in The Big Cosmic Crunch!

By Donald Sensing

Researchers Predict ‘Imminent Collapse’ Of Universe After Period Of Rapid Expansion

Davis, Calif. (CBS SACRAMENTO) – Physicists predict the universe is primed for a “cosmological collapse” that will cause the universe to stop expanding at its current rate and ultimately collapse in on itself to wipe away all known matter.

Physicists Nemanja Kaloper at the University of California Davis and Antonio Padilla at the University of Nottingham proposed the “imminent” collapse – which on the cosmological scale is a few tens of billions of years from today, Phys.org reports. Their paper published in Physical Review Letters focuses on the “dark energy” causing the constant expansion of the universe that is predicted to ultimately continue on a path toward collapse.

The world is going to blow up!

By Donald Sensing

Scientists discover supervolcano trigger that could herald humanity's doom
"Turns out we may get very little warning before big bang!"

European scientists think they've found the trigger mechanism for the eruption of supervolcanoes, the most violent and dangerous natural disasters on Earth.
Unlike traditional volcanoes, which are easily identifiable by their mountainous shape, supervolcanoes lurk far underneath the Earth's surface. They contain huge bulbs of molten magma, some over 100km long, which periodically explode, covering huge areas with ash hundreds of meters deep which scars the lungs of any animal breathing it in.
Around 20 supervolcanoes have been discovered under the Earth's surface (and at least one suspected site on Mars), and when they blow the results can be catastrophic.

The Universe is Going to Collapse!

By Donald Sensing

The University of Southern Denmark:
Maybe it happens tomorrow. Maybe in a billion years. Physicists have long predicted that the universe may one day collapse, and that everything in it will be compressed to a small hard ball. New calculations from physicists at the University of Southern Denmark now confirm this prediction – and they also conclude that the risk of a collapse is even greater than previously thought.

The coming end of everything

By Donald Sensing

We are so screwed:

NASA Predicts Our Galaxy Will Collide With Another In 6B Years

A great galaxy mashup will occur in 6 billion years when our galaxy, the Milky Way, collides with the nearby Andromeda galaxy, according to the first reliable determination of Andromeda’s sideways motion, made using NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope.

The galactic union isn’t expected to result in the destruction of Earth, the Sun, or any other planet in the solar system. In fact, no stars whatsoever are expected to collide becauase they are so far apart within each system. But Earth’s night sky is expected to undergo a “spectacular evolution,” according to NASA scientists, who gave a press conference on the new findings

But it might be only four billion years! Ohh Nooo! It is, once again, The End Of Life As We Know It!

The end of the world, again

By Donald Sensing

"Asteroid could raze London:"

A GIANT asteroid could be on course to hit Earth causing massive devastation, space boffins revealed today.

An international team including NASA experts warned a 560m wide space rock has been discovered heading this way.

If it did hit Earth it would blast a crater several miles wide and could devastate a city the size of London, wreaking death and destruction for hundreds of miles in every direction.
Once again, it's The End Of The World As We Know It.

Don't forget the scenario in 2012 as an obscure Planet X -- or Nibiru -- heads toward or collides into Earth. Or the supernova and galaxy-attack scenarios. And then the massive gas cloud speeding toward a collision with the Milky Way! Then we learn that the earth's atmosphere may detonate. And then the asteroids. Then the black hole death stars! And we might be swallowed whole by the sun. And there's an intense beam of gamma rays coming our way. Then there was the fear that "human society is very quickly headed to a violent and disturbing end." Then the earth began to kill people for changing its climate. Then there is thevoracious, galactic Hoover in Switzerland that will suck the whole planet into a black hole. And the massive destruction along the coasts of countries like the USA, UK and many on the African continent, within a matter of hours.

The Mayans or your lying eyes?

By Donald Sensing

Yep, who ya gonna believe - the Mayans or your lying eyes?

The End Of The World As We Know It (TEOLAWKI) scenario in 2012 "revolves claims that the end of time will come as an obscure Planet X -- or Nibiru -- heads toward or collides into Earth." But NASA's not taking that claim lying down.

"There is no factual basis for these claims," NASA said in a question-and-answer posting on its website.

If such a collision were real "astronomers would have been tracking it for at least the past decade, and it would be visible by now to the naked eye," it added. "Obviously, it does not exist."
As Casey Stengel said about a baseball record, "You can look it up." Or in this case, just plain look up. See anything coming right atcha? Didn't think so.

But that's not to say all is well. Don't forget the supernova and galaxy-attack scenarios. And then the massive gas cloud speeding toward a collision with the Milky Way! Then we learn that the earth's atmosphere may detonate. And then the asteroids. Then the black hole death stars! And we might be swallowed whole by the sun. And there's an intense beam of gamma rays coming our way. Then there was the fear that "human society is very quickly headed to a violent and disturbing end."
