Beef prices hit all-time high in U.S.

Harsh winter weather to blame? Sure. But don't forget the federal government's ethanol subsidies that drive up the price of corn, which is both a basic agricultural product and feed stock. One third of the corn grown in America is so subsidized, driving up the price of corn for consumption and other uses.
