How powerful will our enemies become?

More powerful than we can now imagine. Al Qaeda and its ideological-religious allies (a distinction without a difference) are on the verge of controlling four nations in the Mid-East and North Africa:

1. Libya, where the below-western-media's-radar's civil war is going mostly in al Qaeda's advantage

2. Syria, where Assad's forces appear to be gaining the upper hand over the insurgency, but the issue is far from settled.

3. Iran, where the Shia post-revolution regime is so politically and ideologically aligned with the goals and ideology of al Qaeda that it makes no difference that Iran is Shia and al Qaeda Sunni. It is a western fantasy that this matters much.

4. And finally, Iraq, which is almost certainly going to fall entire into the hands of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIS), al Qaeda's Iraqi branch. ISIS just seized Iraq's second-largest city, Mosul, where it was fantastically enriched by seizing $400 million from the government vaults there.

Get ready for The Day of Reckoning:

There’s nothing in place available to stop al-Qaeda. The forces that might have are locked up in the Southwest Asia, sustained at the mercy of Russia and Pakistan. Obama has been faked out; the AQ have gone around him for a layup to the basket. He may lose Iraq and its border with Syria before the year ends. Afghanistan’s fall will follow almost immediately thereafter, behind the last American troops, whose safe exit from the landlocked country is now by no means guaranteed.  The Russians lost more than 500 men going out in 1989 — and they only had to cross a land border a short distance away.

But remember, Osama bin Laden is dead so that means that al Qaeda is defeated. So everything is really quite okay!
