Jesus died, but we can't talk about that

Trigger warning: this post discusses crucifixion and is therefore potentially psychologically and emotionally damaging to Bible students
Students In College Bible Class Get Trigger Warning, Permission To Skip Studying Crucifixion Of Jesus Christ
Students in a Bible course at the University of Glasgow are being given trigger warnings before being shown images of the crucifixion — and permission to skip those lessons altogether if they are worried they’ll feel too uncomfortable.
There was a time I would have commented, "Simply unbelievable." But not any more. Not when increasing number of college professors, even law professors, are refusing to teach about sexual violence or law because students complained.

Here is a medical explanation of what Jesus (and every other crucifixion victim) endured.

Update: More abandonment of the faith by the Scottish "Christian" hierarchy:
A passage from the Koran that denies one of the central tenets of the Christian faith was sung aloud at a cathedral service in Scotland.

The passage from Surah 19, which specifically denies that Jesus was the Son of God and says He should not be worshipped, was sung during a Eucharist service at St Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral in Glasgow to mark the feast of the Epiphany.
The Christian season of Epiphany follows very shortly after Christmas and is initiated by noting the passages recounting the visit of the wise men, or magi, to the Holy Family sometime within the first two years of Jesus' birth. "Epiphany" means revelation, and the season is traditionally understood to be revelatory of Jesus as the only begotten Son of God, God incarnate, God in the flesh.

That is what the Koran specifically denies in Sura 19.
