What gun laws did Cruz violate?

By Donald Sensing

Here is a probably-incomplete list of firearms laws that Nikolas Cruz violated on or before Feb. 14. These laws inhibited him not at all. So of course the Left thinks the solution is more laws.

1. Carrying a long gun in a vehicle for unlawful use -- Florida Statutes, Chapter 790.25(5).
2. Possessing and discharging a firearm on school property -- 790.115
3. Openly carrying a firearm in a prohibited manner -- 790.25(3).
4. Intentionally displaying a firearm in an angry or threatening manner -- 790.053.
5. Committing a felony while displaying, using, and threatening a weapon -- 790.07
6. Discharging firearm in public -- 790.15 (this may mean only outdoors and not on private property, though).
7.  Discharging a destructive device -- 790.162

This list does not include murder, assault and battery, etc., only the narrowly-defined statutes related directly to firearms.
