How many people is Eric Swalwell willing to kill?

In an interview with CNN's Jake Tapper, presidential candidate Eric Swalwell said,

TAPPER: So, gun control is the central plank in your campaign.You wrote last year — quote — “We should ban possession of military-style semiautomatic assault weapons. We should buy back such weapons from all who choose to abide by the law. And we should criminally prosecute any who choose to defy it by keeping their weapons.” Criminal prosecution for keeping assault weapons. What's the punishment for people who don’t hand in their guns? Do they go to jail?

SWALWELL: Well, Jake, they would, but I also offer an alternative, which would be to keep them at a hunting club or a shooting range. And the reason I have proposed this is because these weapons are so devastating.

My question is simple: Some gun owners will refuse and some of them will refuse forcefully.  How many of them is a President Swalwell willing to kill to enforce his ban? I think the honest answer is, "All of them."

How many law-enforcement officers is he willing to see die to enforce his band? Again, the honest answer is, "As many as it takes."

How will he respond to communities, counties or even whole states that declare themselves Second Amendment sanctuaries? Based on this tweet, the answer is, "With the U.S. Army."

Of course he was not literally threatening to nuke holdout gun owners. But he absolutely was threatening to unleash United State military power against them, which would be wholly illegal to begin with. But I doubt he even knows that or would care if he did. This is a dangerous man.
