How Bionics will change veterans' lives

Any US service member who has lost a limb in the terror wars will take heart at this TED talk. Bionics is the name of the first artificial limbs that actually mimic muscle movement rather than just fill in blank space where the missing limb used to be.

The technology has also been used to make the first wearable exoskeleton that actually augments human muscle strength rather than simply supports a persons natural skeleton.
