Surviving an active shooter

"The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department has created this video to help people answer the question "What would you do?" in the event of a sudden attack by a gunman while at work, at school, or in public."

In order:

1. Run. In fact, run away about twice as far, at least, as you think you need to.

2. Hide. Get fully concealed. Silence your cell phone. Stay alert for chances to run.

3. If unarmed, fight back. I would also say this is third resort if you are armed.
