Indiana winner of $435.3M Powerball wants to remain anonymous. Indiana law allows this. It is a smart, smart move on the winner's part. However, when announcing this information, "Jennifer Dzwonar, a representative of the Powerball winner from Indianapolis public relations firm, Borshoff," then went on to announce so much personal information about the winner that she may as well stated his name, address, email and cell phone number.
Ms. Dzwonar stated all this:
- The winner is a man,
- has lived within Lafayette, Ind., metropolitan area, for about 10 years and considers Lafayette home,
- is a Purdue grad,
- who works at a Lafayette manufacturing plant,
- a few people know his identity (and now that reporters know that, at least one will be persuaded to talk),
- he is middle-aged
